The Learning Place

The Estes Park Learning Place, a tutoring and learning center, had declining enrollment and decreasing awareness among parents, teachers and students. The re-branding campaign aimed at appealing to a wider age group of students, parents and school faculty. The brand was also struggling because community members were unsure of the name- as it had been called both “The Estes Park Learning Place”, and “The Learning Center”.

The new brand’s focus is on transforming the feeling of frustration into one of empowerment. The logo de-emphasizes “Estes Park” and states “The Learning Place” boldly to clearly communicate the name. Emphasize was also placed on it’s non-profit status, raising awareness of scholarships and donation opportunities. The new look connects with students of all ages verses their previous image of an elementary aged service organization. Different methods of communication included proposed texting campaign to reach the illusive tween/teen market, customizable folders and electronic files.
